The Great Escape is an offbeat drive on the lines of Jamborees or Great Outdoors. These are adventure excursions held over the weekends in the United States, Australia, Canada & England which provides you a chance to get away from the humidity of the city life along with his family and drive through the scenic backwoods of places he may never have ventured out into alone for fear of getting lost or stuck. There is no competition involved nor any prizes at stake.

It is an attempt to provide motoring enthusiasts an opportunity to test their driving skills, as well as the capabilities of their over tough conditions. Basically the event is an attempt by Mahindra & Mahindra to infuse a sense of camaraderie among their vehicle owners. It is also an opportunity for owners to test the capabilities of their vehicles when put through the arduous grind on off-road conditions.
